10th Convocation and Work Exhibition of SPA Bhopal Tomorrow at 4 pm

CNN Central News & Network – ITDC India ePress/ ITDC News Bhopal:10th Convocation and Exhibition of SPA Bhopal Students Works will be held on 28th October 2023

School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) Bhopal is organising the 10th Convocation at its Campus on Saturday, 28th October 2023 (04:00 PM onwards). 

Dr. Sachchidanand Joshi, Member Secretary, the Executive and Academic Head of Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts (IGNCA), New Delhi, Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, and an eminent Scholar of History and Mass Communication, a Writer, a Poet, and an Actor has kindly consented to be the chief guest for the occasion and shall deliver the convocation address. The program will be chaired by Prof. (Dr.) Hakam Dan Charan, Chairperson, Board of Governors of SPA Bhopal.

On the occasion, 241 graduates (80 undergraduate, 156 postgraduate and 5 PhD) will be awarded the degrees across disciplines. Besides, Two Medals of Excellence, Nine Proficiency Gold Medals to the toppers of respective departments and Nine Best Thesis Awards will be awarded during the ceremony.

A display of selected academic works created during the last academic year (2022-23) across the departments and programs i.e. Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Planning, Master of Architecture (Conservation), Master of Architecture (Landscape), Master of Architecture (Urban Design), Master of Design, Master Planning (Environmental Planning), Master of Planning (Transport Planning and Logistics Management), Master of Planning (Urban and Regional Planning) will be exhibited at the convocation venue. 

The exhibition will include studio works, posters and designs including the works of proficiency gold medal, Best Thesis award, National Association of Students of Architecture (NASA), INSDAG, Archiol, NIUA, INHAF, Incremental Housing Competition, Uttam Architects Award winners etc.
