A contingent of sportspersons from Rabindranath Tagore University left to participate in the Khelo India University Games.

ITDC INDIA EPRESS/ ITDC NEWS : A contingent of 13 players from Rabindranath Tagore University left to participate in the Khelo India University Games. Before this, a meet and greet program of the players was organized in the university campus. University Registrar Vijay Singh and Raisen District Sports Officer Jalaj Chaturvedi were present in the programme. On this occasion, while encouraging the players, Vijay Singh talked about giving their hundred percent in the game with team spirit.

He also gave tips to the players to stay fit. The same Jalaj Chaturvedi also wished the players and advised them to play with sportsmanship. On this occasion, the players were provided with AISECT Raman Green Dara manufactured millet products (Shri Anna) to keep them healthy. The players of the University in Fencing, Wrestling, Athletics and Judo have qualified for the Khelo India University Games 2022 by performing brilliantly in the All India University Games.

In EP Men's team of Fencing Shankar Pandey BPES 1st year, Saurabh Mishra, BPES 1st year, Harshal Bhakte, BPES 1st year, Mohit Shrivas, BPES 1st year, Women's EP team, Khushi Dabhade, BPES 1st year, Pragya Singh, BPES 1st year, Pooja Dangi, BPES 1st year, Anjali Bathre, BPES 1st year and Shankar Pandey, BPES 1st year individual are also participating in EP.

In Wrestling, Priyanshi Prajapat, BPES first year is participating in 53 kg weight category. Manisha Awasthi, BPES first year is participating in Athletics Steeple Chase. Whereas in Judo Women's, Jagriti, BPEd 1st year -57 kg, Himanshi Tokas, BPES 1st year 63 kg and Nandini Vats, BPES 1st year -70 kg are participating in the weight category.
