Amitabh Bachchan gets stuck in traffic, takes lift from fan on bike to reach shoot on time

By Grace Cyril: If there's one thing that Amitabh Bachchan is known for, it's his quality of being punctual. The actor hates being late to anywhere and would always reach on time. Recently, the Bollywood superstar got stuck in traffic and found himself getting late to reach the shoot location. Big B, as humble as he is, took a fan's help and asked him for a ride on his bike to beat the traffic and reach his work location on time. Later, Amitabh Bachchan thanked him in a post.

BIG B TAKES LIFT FROM FAN

Amitabh Bachchan is currently busy shooting for Project K. Recently, he took a fan's help to reach his shoot location on time after he got stuck in traffic. Taking to Instagram, Big B posted a photo in which he is seen sitting on a bike with the fan driving it. He is seen wearing a black T-shirt, blue trousers, brown blazer and white sneakers.

Sharing the photo, Amitabh captioned it, "Thank you for the ride buddy .. don’t know you .. but you obliged and got me on time to location of work .. faster and in avoidance of the unsolvable traffic jams .. thank you capped, shorts and yellowed T-shirt owner (sic)."

BIG B SHARES EXPERIENCE IN HIS BLOG

Taking to his blog, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, "Sunday permissions are given to specific regions which can be blocked off for the work we do .. and this is work and the well-wishers after work ..ride on the bike and the driving enthusiasm never does run away (sic)."

He also added, "But now .. caution and care and above all regulatory lives .. Part of living .. many a time there is desire to take over the vehicle and drive it to work .. for the way and the method the carrier drives is of concern .. is of the breaking of regulations .. is the unknown factor of how did they get these driving licenses, when their basic skills are challenged .. no helmet, no regulation or discipline to adhere and respect traffic signals .. blatantly disregarding them and giving a damn to the law or the rules. The frustrating turns to anger and often is the urge to get out of the car and give them a telling .. but the obvious restraints prevent it (sic)."

ON THE WORK FRONT

On the work front, Big B is currently shooting for Nag Ashwin's Project K. He had also sustained an injury on the sets while shooting the film. Recently, he resumed work for Section 84, written and directed by Ribhu Dasgupta. It stars Diana Penty, Abhishek Banerjee and Nimrat Kaur.
