ITDC INDIA EPRESS/ ITDC NEWS : International Women's Day concludes at Nireh A 2-day celebration on the occasion of International Women's Day 2023 by the Bhopal-based National Research Institute of Environmental Health (Nireh), one of the permanent institutes of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) was organized.

In this context, Ms. Bhavna Dehariya, Sports Specialist, Tribal Affairs Department, Satpura Bhawan, Bhopal, the first woman from Madhya Pradesh to conquer Mount Everest in the Institute Auditorium, has scaled the highest peaks of five of the seven continents of the world. Tricolor has been hoisted, attended the program as the chief guest.

Highlighting her passion for mountaineering and her journey till date, Ms. Dehariya ji narrated the tough challenges she faced during her 2-month-long trek to the summit of Mount Everest, and how she overcame them in an excellent speech. Despite all odds, she managed to reach the 'top of the world'. He stressed the importance of training throughout his campaign, saying it applies to all walks of life.

In the introductory address of the International Women's Day program, the head of the institute, Dr. Rajnarayan Tiwari, said that knowledge must be imbibed from wherever you get inspiration. Under this, many scientists and employees of the institute participated enthusiastically in slogan competition and 'open-forum discussion' on the topic "Women can do, and you can help".

The celebration ended with various fun activities like walkathon, musical chair and celebration of Holi with colors by all the employees of the institute.
