Yatra to enter Rajasthan

Ahead of the Bharat Jodo Yatra entering Rajasthan, the factional feud in the state between Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot raised major concerns. Recently the rift between both factions escalated with Gehlot's 'Gaddar' (traitor) remark against Pilot. Pilot had attacked Gehlot for his praise of the efforts of PM Narendra Modi. Pilot alleged that he has closeness to Modi like that of Ghulam Nabi Azad.

However, with Rahul's intervention, the tense situation was diffused. He had called both "assets of the Congress party". Later the Congress High Command stepped in visiting both the leaders and overseeing the yatra preparations.

As per the schedule announced by the Congress, the yatra is set to enter Rajasthan on December 4. It will cover a distance of 380 km in Malwa-Nimar region of western Madhya Pradesh within 12 days before entering Rajasthan.
