ITDC INDIA EPRESS/ ITDC NEWS Aam Aadmi Party convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, on Monday, kept the promise that he gave to an auto driver of dining at his home.

Kejriwal, accompanied by Gujarat AAP leaders Isudan Ghadvi, Gopal Italia and Indranil Rajyaguru, had dinner at the home of auto driver Vikram Dattani in Ahmedabad.

Earlier in the day, at a town hall programme, Dattani had asked Kejriwal if he would dine at his home. The Delhi CM, who has been reaching out to various sections of the society, immediately agreed.

After having dinner, Kejriwal said he invited Dattani to have food at his home.

The AAP chief's visit to Dattani's home unfolded in a dramatic manner with the police trying to stop him from going there, citing security concerns. He was traveling in an auto.

The Delhi CM argued, saying he does not need security while visiting people. He told the cops to ask Gujarat leaders to go to people.

After the town hall, Kejriwal had pasted a poster that read, 'One chance to Kejriwal' on an auto-rickshaw. The party plans to do this on more rickshaws.
