Mega auctions have changed the game a bit for other teams, but for MI and CSK it has changed their game spirit. The unreal dominance and legacy of these two teams defined ipl as a whole with the two teams sharing 9 out of 14 titles among themselves  with Mumbai having 5 titles and Chennai owning 4 trophies across the years but this year proved to be a shocker as the auctions aftermath  resulted in decline of the dominance of two of the most influential  and successful franchise across the world .
