ITDC INDIA EPRESS/ITDC NEWS R Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar, on Friday, said people are still not serious about adhering to COVID-19 protocols.
According to news agency ANI, the Mumbai mayor said Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray thinks that no lockdown should be imposed. "But, people are still not serious and are not wearing masks. People must follow all COVID-19 SOPs."
She said a decision on seating capacity allowed in restaurants will be announced on Friday.
Pednekar said no decision has been taken on imposing weekend curfew so far.
Meanwhile, Thackeray is expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday evening to discuss the pandemic situation in the state, via video conferencing.
