On Suhana Khan’s 21st birthday, Gauri Khan shares an adorable post

"You are loved today, tomorrow and always," Gauri said

ITDC INDIA EPRESS/ ITDC NEWS E Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s daughter Suhana turns 21 on Saturday. Gauri took to social media to share a special birthday message for her. 

Sharing a picture of Suhana in a black polka dress, Gauri wrote: “Happy birthday…. you are loved today, tomorrow and always”. Fans are pouring in birthday wishes for the star kid

Suhana is currently living in New York and is studying filmmaking at the New York University. Suhana has acted in several plays and also acted in a short film titled The Grey Part of Blue.

Suhana, who often shares glimpses of her life from the US, lad also recently opened up about colourism and being subjected to criticism for her skin colour.

In September last year, she revealed that she has been told ‘she’s ugly’ because of her skin tone since she was 12. She shared screenshots of several offensive comments she has received where she has been called a ‘black witch, or ‘ugly’.

In an emotional post, she wrote: “Other than the fact that these are actual adults, what's sad is that we are all Indian, which automatically makes us brown - yes we come in different shades but no matter how much you try to distance yourself from the melanin, you just can't. Hating on your own people just means that you are painfully insecure. I'm sorry if social media, Indian matchmaking or even your own families have convinced you, that if you're not 5"7 and fair you're not beautiful. I hope it helps to know that I'm 5"3 and brown and I am extremely happy about it and you should be too."
