Madame Tussauds moves Prince Harry, Meghan Markle waxworks to Hollywood section

Since the duo are no longer official royals, their waxworks have been given new posit

ITDC INDIA EPRESS/ITDC NEWS Art is meant to reflect life, or so would be the philosophy at Madame Tussauds (London), which has moved the positions of the waxworks of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, to the Hollywood zone of the museum.

The duo left their royal duties to move to Los Angeles a year ago, where they struck deals with Netflix, Spotify and Apple to produce content.

"Harry and Meghan have moved zones—Madame Tussauds London has moved its figures of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to their brand new Awards Party zone to reflect their move from Frogmore to Hollywood," Madame Tussauds said in a statement, referring to the couple's former British home Frogmore Cottage.

The royal couple’s split with the rest of the royal family has identified deep divides within Britain’s royal culture. Meghan’s mixed raced heritage was reportedly a point of contention for senior royals, with the duo making dropping bombshell allegations in a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Prince Harry and Meghan, who stepped down for their positions as senior royals in January 2020, cited racism as one of the reasons they left the palace. Other main reasons included unkind coverage of Meghan Markle in the British media and unwarranted scrutiny of their private lives.
