ITDC INDIA EPRESS/ ITDC NEWS Reacting to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's (BMC) decision to bring down alleged alterations to Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut's bungalow and office building, the actor, on Wednesday, warned Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray that his "arrogance will be demolished."
The Bombay High Court had stayed the demolition of the building on Wednesday.
In a video message released on social media, the actor accused the chief minister of siding with the “Bollywood mafia” and taking revenge on the actor. “Today you demolished my building. Tomorrow your arrogance will be demolished," she said and compared her situation with the plights of Kashmiri pandits.
Further, she said she will not only make a movie on Ayodhya, but one on Kashmir as well and awaken the people of the nation. It is good that this happened to me, said the actor.
Earier, the actor's lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui had called the BMC move to bring down the building "revenge." "This is their personal agenda. We will take legal action against BMC on this," he said.
Kangana has been constantly updating on social media what was happening at her office premises in Bandra. Terming the act as “death of democracy”, the actor sought to know how BMC officialsauthorised the demolition when such procedures were suspended till September 30 in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
