Indian Institute of Science Education and Research celebrated Institute Day in the playground of its campus on 07

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal celebrated Institute Day on the 07th of its campus in the playground.

Honorable Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav addressed the occasion as the chief guest. Padma Award winners, sportspersons, senior officials and dignitaries of various departments of the State/Central Government, Vice Chancellors/Directors of various educational and research institutes and universities of Bhopal also participated in the event.

Professor Govardhan Das, Director, IISER Bhopal, while highlighting the educational contributions of the institute towards the academic world and the society at large, talked about the academic progress of the institute. He expressed gratitude to the Government of Madhya Pradesh and the Government of India for their commendable support and continuous assistance for the development of the institute.

Dr. Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister, Madhya Pradesh appreciated the contributions of IISER Bhopal under the leadership of Professor Govardhan Das.

It was a joy to witness and experience the collective display of research, innovation and cultural spirit at IISER Bhopal, one of the premier educational institutions. The exhibition stalls were quite impressive. Unique glimpses of academic and student activities were presented through various exhibition stalls presented by various academic departments, laboratories and student clubs.

Around 3000 persons participated in the Institute Day function.

As an institute of national importance in the central region of India, IISER Bhopal is playing a very important role and is contributing to the promotion of educational and research environment in the region.
