ITDC INDIA EPRESS/ ITDC NEWS : The much awaited "Second Convocation" was successfully held at AIIMS Bhopal. Dr. Bharti Pravin Pawar, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare was the chief guest on the occasion, who advised the new degree holders to serve the people of the country to reduce the suffering of the patients.

President of the Institute Prof. (Dr.) Y. Of. Gupta gave permission to start the proceedings of the convocation. Executive Director Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Singh presented the report card of the institute to the dignitaries, teachers, students and media persons present on the occasion. He said that AIIMS Bhopal is on the path of continuous progress in the field of research, patient care and education.

Dr. Bharti distributed certificates and gold medals to the meritorious students in the ceremony, including Shweta Sharma, Tatikond Niharika, Uppalapati Priyanka, Machani Hema Lata, Arun Kumar, Priya Maheshwari, Rahul Patki, Akhil Venu Gopal, V. Sai Krishna, Shetotomi Rachna, Saumya Singh etc. students are involved.

On this occasion, Bhumi Pujan and foundation stone was also performed by the Minister for the establishment of 150 bedded Critical Care Unit under PM Ayushman Bharat, Health Infrastructure Mission.

During this he was also apprised of various facilities available in the hospital. Tree plantation was also done by the Minister in the AIIMS campus.

Honorable Medical Education Minister Mr. Vishwas Kailash Sarang was the guest of honor in the program, who advised the passing out students that when a poor patient expresses his inability to get treatment, do not insist for money because the power of goodwill is more valuable and powerful than money.
